Tuesday, December 24th, 2013, Bridgetown, Barbados- All is well with a jet which landed safely at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Christmas Eve after encountering problems en route to the neighboring Grenadines. The aircraft carrying nine passengers and two crewmembers was en route from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Canouan when it developed difficulties with its landing gear. The pilot who radioed for assistance around 10.51 am prompted a full call out of the local emergency agencies which were placed on stand-by.The aircraft landed safely and taxied to the gate at approximately 12 noon without further incident.
